On October 26, 2005, Edward Alden of Financial Times re****ted from
Wa****ngton that the U.S., along with Japan and Switzerland, will seek
from China a broad array of information on Chinese efforts to crack
down on piracy of foreign music, movies and softwares.
The three countries invoked a rarely used WTO provision to request the
information. They seek a complete response no later than January 23,
2006.
