English language as a tumor in China

by "yzhu" <bizchinatown@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 8, 2005 at 01:42 PM

English language is so im****tent in china nowday. You have to take an
English exam if you want to go to college. You have to speak some English
to be a good tour guide. You have to pass some tests to be promoted as a
engineer, researcher or a scientist. Almost every school boys and girls
are learning English. Look at those on http://friends.bizchinatown.com
for
those who like to do language Enchange.

I'm not against learning English. It is just too much. The education
system emphasizes too much on English. It put a lot of unnecessary burden
on people who don't need enyengls. Learning English is a tumor in Chine.
