I keep reading that Chinese kill their newborn girls. From the stand point
of a male suitor, that should be offensive, since there will be fewer
women
from which to choose a mate. Since China has a limit on the number of
children a couple can have without penalty, I think China should throw in
an
incentive to couples to keep their girls. What a horrible thing to do to
kill any new born baby, and simply because it is a girl! China is the
king
of welfare - it is a communist country, at least in name. Really, it's a
fascist country - totalititarian with a capitalist economy. But its
welfare
priorities could ****ft to do something moral - encourage couples to not
abort their children by PAYING them to have girls in preference to boys.
Perhaps this would be a little like affirmative action - giving girls the
op****tunity to live, since boys already have that op****tunity. But like
affirmative action in the US, it could be at least tem****ary, until
attitudes change.
