<<<No: ethnic cleansing is what happened during the 1960s and 1950s
genocide against Turks at the hands of Greek Cypriots. That is well>>>
Since there was no such thing, it is clear that you are a SICK LIAR!
In the 1950's Greek Cypriots were being systematically attacked by Turkish
state sponsored terrorists. That is who started the violence in Cyprus.
The
TMT and Turkey blew up its own press office and then murdered innocent
Greek
Cypriots in collusion with the British who supplied the Turkish terrorists
with arms and dumped the Greek Cypriots outside a Turkish terrorist
stronghold in order to be murdered. In the 1960's these same terrorists
who
were again armed with Turkish arms smuggled to them by the British still
sore at Cyprus daring to demand freedom and independence, who were caught
red hand began a rebellion in order to destroy Cyprus, attacked both Greek
and Turkish Cyprus just like they did in the 1950's in order to drive them
apart. Turkey was condemned for this by the UN Security Council and the
Cyprus Government was given a UN mandate to use all available means to put
an end to the bloodshed and violence started by Turkey in violation of
Article 2 Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter as stated in resolution 186(1964).
<<<The 1974 peace intervention by Turkey was to stop all the massacres>>>
You mean invasion and genocide of the Greek Cypriots. There were NO
massacres of Turkish Cypriots. NOT ONE Turkish Cypriots was harmed before
Turkey invaded Cyprus and began massacring Greek Cypriots and napalming
both
Greek and Turkish Cypriot villages
<<<treaties that it signed with Greece and Britain. It acted within the
respect of international law but the world preferred to close its eyes>>>
What a load of BULL****. The Turkish invasion was condemned by the UN
Security Council as being in violation of the UN Charter and existing UN
resolutions condemning earlier Turkish aggression and state sponsored
terrorism against Cyprus in the 1960.
