Dear Chelsea,
You are living proof that it is a fine thing to be born with the
proverbial silver spoon in your mouth. Raised in the White House,
educated at Stanford and then Oxford, you have lived the life the rest
of the girls either dream about or make movies about. No one here
begrudges you a single moment of the privileges you have enjoyed. Your
famous parents managed to provide you with a life of privilege...and
more power to you.
I do, however, have a bone to pick, dear-heart. It is with your career
choice. The world is your oyster. You can go anywhere and be anything
you desire. So, why would you accept a position with a hedge fund? Why
would you wish to indoctrinate yourself on how to stack great piles of
money while crotch-kicking the little guy? Didn't anyone ever tell you
that it is impossible to soar with eagles if you bang around with
buzzards?
Besides, little one, your momma finds herself in a quandary. Here you
are earning God knows what for doing God knows what for the big, bad
hedge funds, and there she is trying to distance herself. She wants to
be the woman who stands up for the common man. She has taken on hedge
funds with inflammatory rhetoric. All the while, you - bone of her
bone, flesh of her flesh, lie in bed with the enemy!
I urge you to take the silver spoon form your mouth and rid yourself
of your sense of entitlement...and find an honest way to make a living.
Sincerely,
Vercity Jones, http://www.basherbusters.com
