My favourite Americans are the ones I know in Dallas, upstate New York,
Ohio
and where I lived for 2 years back in the late 1980's, New York City.
I've been drunk with a cheese head before too!
And falling alseep on a Dash 8 lauching from Buttonville and landing at
Chicago's Midway Air****t is waking up to a new place.
Back in September 2000, I was at a bar in Chicago getting rather drunk
with
some American business associates and suddenly some guy said "That's
CASTRO!" and Jimmy Carter was sitting in front of him.
It was on CNN in the bar, and it behoved me to explain to them who Pierre
Trudeau was, because it was his funeral in Montreal!
I felt silly!
Until I mentioned that Maggie was sitting beside Jimmy Carter and in front
of
Castro, and Maggie (Trudeau) was the one who Ron Wood ****ed when he was
with
the Rolling Stones in Toronto back in '78!
That's Canada!
