Prosecute Kofi Annan, UN for crimes against humanity

by Bill Levinson <wlevinson@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 20, 2004 at 08:28 PM

The same individual who called the U.S. war in Iraq (which liberated 50
million people from a vicious dictator who fed political opponents into
plastic shredders while his murderous sons tortured unsuccessful soccer
players and fed women to attack dogs) "illegal" has himself been
implicated in genocide. Is Kofi Annan guilty of 800,000 counts of
criminally-negligent homicide in Rwanda?

"For example, there was that splendidly legitimate U.N. operation in
Bosnia, where its blue-helmeted peacekeepers watched with indifference
as Serbian soldiers rounded up for slaughter thousands of Muslim men in
the so-called U.N. 'safe haven' of Srebrenica. Or Rwanda in 1994, where
Mr. Annan-- then head of the U.N. peacekeeping force-- shrugged off
panicked warning calls from the U.N. commander on the ground, thereby
allowing the slaughter of 800,000." "Kofi's Law," Wall Street Journal,
9/20/04.

The UNITED NATIONS also has been implicated in more than one act of
ongoing genocide. Can the United Nations (as an organization) be
prosecuted for crimes against humanity? The UN building in New York
cannot, of course, be hanged the way the Nazi war criminals were but the
organization can indeed be given a "death sentence" by disbanding it, or
withdrawal of recognition of its legitimacy.

"Only yesterday the German daily, Die Welt [The World], re****ted that
Syria, in coordination with Khartoum, used chemical weapons against
civilians in Darfur. ...the Khartoum government remains a member of good
standing on the U.N. Human Rights Commission. Only last May, when the
atrocities in Darfur were already well known, Sudan was reappointed to
the commission through 2007."
--Wall Street Journal, September 16 2004, "The U.N. Cavalry- Not."

This article also says that "Syria might have been the destination for
some of Saddam Hussein's missing WMD." If so, it is quite understandable
why Kofi Annan does not want this investigated. If it came to light that
the "nonexistent" Iraqi WMDs are now being used to perpetrate genocide,
it would show the entire world what the United Nations is really about.

world’s greatest humanitarian crisis'" (suppressing a re****t on genocide
makes the UN an accomplice to genocide)

China threatens to veto UN Darfur draft
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Sept 15, 2004
"China has threatened to veto a revised U.S. draft resolution that would
consider U.N. sanctions against Sudan’s oil industry if Khartoum does
not stop atrocities in its Darfur region, diplomats re****ted on
Wednesday."
