I'm wondering whether the girls' parents would have been prosecuted for 
allowing her to name her teddy bear "Muhammed"?

At any rate, this isn't like the kid in Singa****e who vandalized the
parked 
cars and then went crying to the US when he was sentenced to a whipping
with 
a cane on his bare butt.

1) The law is abstruse.  I mean, a kid's teddy bear?  It would be hard to 
guess that is a crime, as it's hard to view it as a defamation of
Muhammed. 
Clearly the woman wasn't intentionally trying to defame him.

2) The law is contrary to what we consider a basic human right. 
(Although, 
admittedly, we have a significant minority in the US who think people
should 
be jailed for burning the American flag.)

3) We are talking about a crime -- a jail/prision sentence followed by 
de****tation -- not simply a grounds for firing her from her job.

It falls short of being a "status offense" though.  The crime and
punishment 
are extremist and fanatical, but it is a crime for conduct and not for 
status, unlike Hitler's holocaust.  Also, she wasn't executed.  Although 
de****tation was the second stage of the Nazi campaign to rid Germany of 
Jews, de****tation does not equal genocide.

Oh, well.  They're all going to end up in hell.
