This Year's Klingon qep'a

by "Donald J. Harlow" <donh@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 5, 2007 at 06:52 PM

Sometime back, I wrote:

"I was looking for information about several conlang/auxlang conferences
to
be held this year, and couldn't find it. Does anybody know what's going
on?

"...

"(3) At the Klingon Language Institute, the link to info about the next
qep'a' simply takes us to a picture from the last one. Maybe this _was_
this
year's conference, and it's already happened (though in fact I suspect it
was the 2005 conference). Does anybody know whether there is going to be a
2007 qep'a'? (For that matter, does anybody know whether there was a 2006
qep'a'?)"

Maybe somebody actually read this message, because if you go back to the
same page now ( http://www.kli.org/stuff/qepa.html
) there's a message
about
the 2007 qep'a (July 26-29, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). Unfortunately,
nobody's signed up for it yet, maybe only because the people in charge of
the page have provided no way of signing up for it.

(There are also indications that in 2006 there was a 13th qep'a -- this
year's is number 14 -- but unlike in previous years no group photo and
list
of participants has been provided.)
