Having had the op****tunity to look at considerable (but, alas, rapidly
deteriorating) material on Ro at the US Library of Congress, I would
say that in general Foster's assignments were more or less arbitrary
(and, as Rick Harrison has pointed out, Ro is more or less English
relexified with a schematised vocabulary).
