Dear all,
Today the Council of Aegean University will decide on whether or not the
Cypriotic student that burned a dog in Chios with hot oil will be banned
from the university.
The student recorded his crime with his own mobile phone camera:
http://www.oreivatein.com/fora_pics/Chios_MEGA.wmv
but be prepared, it is
horrible! The dog died and the incident happened two months ago. The video
was given to Chios animal welfare group by a friend of the monster, who
was
disgusted with what he saw.
The student is now in UK but he continues renting his house in Chios and
they expect him to return, as he has not graduated from university.
I know this is a short time notice but if you have some time please send a
fax to the Rector and the council of Aegean University. The faxes are:
+30 22510 36019 or +30 22510 36029 (Head office of Aegean University)
+30 22710 35499 (Department of Aegean University in Chios)
If you can send out only one, please send it to the first number.
I am sending you a short sample letter in English (please correct my
English), but its always better if you can write your own. If possible
send
also a copy to the Chios animal welfare group carlyprovan@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
sample letter:
To the Rector and the Council
Of Aegean University
Dear Sir/Madam,
We were very sad to hear about the horrible action of a student of your
respectable University against a poor stray dog. The student threw boiling
oil all over the dog, while he was singing and laughing and recording the
scene with a mobile phone.
We believe there is no place for such "people" in a peaceful University
community. This student may be dangerous not only for animals but also for
humans as well.
Therefore we kindly ask you to use all your efforts so that this student
is
punished and banned from Aegean University.
Kind regards,
