Dear mpsurveys35,
About 20 years ago, our late President Constantinos Karamanlis proposed =
to the International Olympics Committee and the UN, a huge area around =
Olympia to be declared an International no-man's-land, where the =
Olympics could be held.
In fact he got on a helicopter and observed the area.
His proposal was not accepted. Money? Politics? Financial interests of =
the International Olympics Committee? Who knows!
Regards,
Panayiotis
