its next guest speaker will be Nick Seaton.
Nick is the chairman of the Campaign for Real Education
(http://www.cre.org.uk),
a pressure group of parents, teachers and
others that calls for higher standards and more parental choice in
state education. He has written numerous articles and pamphlets, most
recently, The True Cost of State Education, published by the Centre
for Policy Studies, in conjunction with Power to the Parents by John
Redwood MP. He is also a regular commentator in the press and on
radio.
He will talk about educational philosophies, the curriculum and values,
how the bureaucrats control us, why standards and choice are im****tant
for individual freedom, and what can be done.
