As a victim of a SLAPP suit that has been in litigation for more than
three years, I found that while many excellent informational resources
about SLAPPs exist on the Internet, I could not find a venue for
victims to share their experiences and support each other.
To fulfill this need, I have launched a Yahoo! group called the SLAPP
Victims' Support Group. Its purpose is to provide emotional support for
victims, encourage them to defend their First Amendment rights, and
educate ourselves and the interested public about this judicial abuse.
I have posted a number of links to resources as well as articles,
information about cases, links to books and other resources, and news
articles. You are invited to join the group at

The group is still very small,
but I am hoping it will grow so we can enjoy helpful and interesting
discussions.
