The Nuclear Deterrent is the best weapon we have ever had, it has also
meant
"peace in our time" for many of us. Yes there have been small wars but
the
continent of Europe has never had such a sustained period of peace. In
the
past all the continent of Europe has ever known is war, death, destruction
and decimation. We have kept the continent free of war and this has given
us a chance to live in freedom and also to reap economic benefits.
Socialist MP's wish to take all this away from us and their policy is to
disarm us, such horseshit has not been spoken since Chamberlain met Von
Ribbentrop and Hitler and the gullible old fool got hoodwinked. We can
not
afford to stand down our nuclear deterrent, we must spend more money to
advance and modernize our warheads.
Quite simply, the nuclear deterrent is the best thing since sliced bread.
