I bring to your attention the incarceration of Simon Mann who received 7
years for flaunting immigration laws in Zimbabwe, it was alleged that Mann
was attempting to purchase weapons to aid a military coup in Equatorial
Guinea. As he was not convicted of this then 7 years seems particularly
harsh for this when one considers the policy in this country regarding the
same.

Zimbabwe is ruled by Marxist dictator Robert Mugabe who is constantly
subjecting his own people to his own racist policies is currently in
conflict with the West as regards this. He is taking his country down the
toilet and his notable for the repossession of white owned farms and the
dispossession of homes of black Zimbabwean peoples.

Simon Mann is an officer and a gentleman who has served this country in
the
Scot's Guards and latterly the SAS where he served in Northern Ireland,
Cyprus, Germany, Norway and after leaving his regiment in 1995 he was
recalled to service in 1990/01 for Operation Desert Storm.

Due to the current regime I call for the British Government to request
Simon
Mann serve the remainder of his sentence in the United Kingdom and I ask
anyone who is interested to contact your local MP the Prime Minister and
The
Foreign Office.
It is my belief that Simon Mann is being used as a patsy and is being made
an example of while the real culprit Mark Thatcher was able to walk away
due
to is far better contacts.
For the crime that Simon Mann was initially accused, that of basically
purchasing arms for a military coup in Equatorial Guinea for which he was
not found guilty, does this not pale in comparison to what George W Bush
and
Tony Blair have done in Iraq with far more destructive consequences.
