Political correctness meets the surveillance state: If
we cannot specifically spy on, nor, God forbid, repress,
mosques where a frequent sermon topic is holy war
against unbelievers, well, we will just have to spy on
everyone, and perhaps repress everyone, won't we?
For if we spied only on those who make blood filled
threats from their pulpits, that would be
DISCRIMINATION.
Recently in Britain, a television channel infiltrated
numerous mosques, and secretly recorded a collection of
alarming sermons

Seems that by spying on these groups, they are guilty of
racial and religious discrimination, promoting racial
hatred, and so forth. After all, they would not have
gone looking for preachers preaching jihad if the
preachers had been Christian, would they?
This reminds me of a recent call by teachers group to
shut down U-Tube because of "cyber bullying".

: : prevent the bullying of schoolchildren and
: : staff online, teachers demanded yesterday.
What, you may ask, was this terrible cyber bullying?
U-tube's cyber bullying consisted of showing cell cam
videos of *actual* bullying happening in schools.
How about we shut down the schools instead? I reckon
the kids learn more from U-tube anyway.
