Subprime Loses and Commodity Prices

by "acmeinc" <xabc14@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 10, 2008 at 12:52 PM

Is anyone in Congress or in the "watchdog" industry investigating whether
any of these investments are involved in the commodities trading. Is
anyone
investigating these hedge funds which are nothing more than gamblers,
unregulated gamblers. Can these investment banks run hedge funds? Wonder

if these folks are trying to make back the subprime losses by speculating
in
the commodities? Just how much of the dollars decline is due to shorting?

The huge increases in commodity prices is due to speculation but by whom
is
not known. Is anyone out there, any guardian of consumer rights,
investigating?
Congress wants to take oil company profits so why aren't they going
after
profits from pure speculation? Write your Congressmen and demand they
look
into the effects of specualtion on the prices of oil, gasoline, grains and

the dollar. If you get a response please post it.
