I have some particularly entertaining iron curtain 80's movies that are
mostly scripted around those activities.

actually........ Stalin starred in the Russian remake of Chaplin's "The
Great Dictator", and he's damn funny. He has great comedic timing, and
his 5 minute moustache twirling scene slayed them in the gulag aisles.
Monty Python were later greatly influenced by this and extended the role
into fish slapping.
