More than 30 years after Australia's first ****ist beach was declared,
Queensland is set to get one.
The Free Beaches Association says the preferred beach is Mudjimba, in
a secluded area north of Maroochydore.
Queensland Premier Anna Bligh and newly elected Sun****ne Coast Mayor
Bob Abbot say they won't oppose a submission from the association, who
want one of three proposed beaches to be made clothing-optional.
All states and territories, except Queensland have designated clothing-
optional beaches since South Australia declared the first at Maslin
Beach near Adelaide in 1975.
