You people are laughing because the banks are reaming Aussies,
even BEFORE the RBA raises interest rates, and you want the
government to intervene in the market and introduce socialist controls?
B^D Wow, I knew the Liberal Party was tossing out every Howard
policy they could as fast as possible.. but I never realized they
had embraced Soviet Central Control and Communism!
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAA!

B^D They are tory socialists, When they are in power they do what
Big Business tells them.. when they aren't they want the ALP to
set prices for commercial operations! BWAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAA!
The only times an Australian government has affected petrol prices are
1. When Howard and Bush invaded Iraq, reduced it's oil output, and
increased the risk premium on crude, driving the price up.
2. When Howard and Costello put a tax (the GST) on a Tax (fuel excise),
driving up the price of petrol at the pump.

Poor dupes like Green Limpet think The Smirk, who never
managed to show any guts in regard to pursuing leader****p,
and never gained it, did anything other than watch the
banks raise interest rates, and, for that matter, petrol
prices rise!
Are they really sup****ters of the Free Market, or are they closet
socialists, who believe the government should set interest rates and
prices? B^P
