He thinks he can blame the new government for the $544,000,000,000 black
hole of debt the previous Guvmint left as their 'legacy'

http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2007/11/25/svOPED_NOV26_wideweb__470x372,0.jpg

The simple truth is: the government does not SET interest rates,
the RBA does IN RESPONSE TO DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL CIR***STANCES.

The current economic cir***stances are that there is an INTERNATIONAL
credit squeeze as a result of the international economic fallout
from the USSA sub-prime mortgage debacle (much like the speculative
frenzy Howard and Costello allowed to grow like cancer in the Australian
Bubble economy they presided over).

If, during the boom times, the Howard government had

- reformed the economy as Keating did with the financial sector
- invested in infrastructure instead of pointless foreign wars
- curbed speculation in the property market, instead of fueling it
- encouraged investment in future productivity instead of feeding
   excess, debt driven consumption

... then we would be well placed to ride out the credit squeeze.

Instead Howard and Costello left us with MASSIVE FOREIGN DEBT
a RECORD 544 BILLION DOLLARS, which is the very WORST position
to be in when International interest rates rise in a global
credit squeeze.

Howard and Costello ****ed us, and left us with economic HIV.

>> I thank you for your question. I condemn Swan because he is useless.

Just because he can't cure you of economic AIDS given to you
by the Howard government does not mean it's his fault.

Grow up and start to think for yourself instead of
blindly following Liberal monarchists who actually
believe some people are BORN TO RULE because they
are innately superior to the rest of us!!!

> But you speak for an insignificant minority group.

He's admitted he has no economic basis for his opinion,
he is just one of those whiners who indiscriminately blames
'The Guvmint' for everything that happens in his life, whether
they have done anything to cause it or not.

If the weather is hot and he gets sunburn..
it's the Guvmints fault! B^D

But what could they do to change it? "Er, I dunno"

If his wife leaves him it can't be his fault.. it must be the Guvmint!

B^D

>> **** stirring?

It is stirring for all the Liberals, they have a bad case
of bowel cancer after 10 years of tory smoke and mirrors
and being butt-****ed by the econorat's Voodoo economics!

When a global recession threatens you want to be cashed up and ready,
NOT in the massive foreign debt which Howard and Costello left us
