Nice way to try to smokescreen the real issue. The problem may have had
more to do with regular and frequent gang rapes, usually of children, an
ingrained acceptance of pedophilia with women from the communities
screaming for help and saying there was no-one doing anything to help
them, alcohol was nothing more than a catalyst for the ingrained problems.
Don't see many communities outside of some of the Aboriginal communities
with these problems, and in fact a large number of Aboriginal
communities are also free of these problems. Those communities,
regardless of race, that DO have these problems though are a far-cry
from the binge drinking problem seen right across Australia regardless
of location/race/whatever. And unfortunately, as much as it irks the
greenleft head-in-the-cloud mob, this is only present in some Aboriginal
communities, it is not widespread and rife anywhere else.
Of course if you were one who had no morals and accepted pedophilia to
be perfectly ok, you might try to mask the REAL issues for political
points. Hopefully we don't have any such gutterslug in these
newsgroups... Or perhaps we do....

No thanks, we'll never accept baby rape, as much as you'd like to see it
across the board to suit your political agenda, all so you can say "see
it's everyone". Sorry, ain't going to happen, and I hope Rudd's got the
balls to make sure it is still stopped in the Aboriginal communities
having the problems, despite all his protests against rescuing these
children when he was in opposition. It'd be nice to see him actually
manage that, he'd earn some respect for it.
Although considering his whimpering apology I supposed he'll problem
confuse the term "rescued" with "stolen" and leave the kids all to die
from STD's and brutal treatment. ****ing sad really....
