"Ted Baillieu hunts for Lib traitors"
12/5/2008
A FURIOUS Ted Baillieu has vowed to cleanse the
Victorian Liberal Party"
I thought the voters were doing that for him!
" of plotters out to get rid of him.
Oh, so it's just a Purge of Liberals who criticise
Ted as leader.. that could be ANYONE! B^D
"Mr Baillieu said yesterday that "cancerous elements"
were undermining the party."
Sure, Brenda Nelson Alex Downer and Ted himself spring to mind! B^D
There is a long history of treachery and disunity among the
Darwinian tory party
Any more cleansing of 'traitors' and 'cancerous elements'
and there will be NO ONE LEFT!! B^D
"He accused a "deep-seated cell" of working for the ALP in an
extraordinary day that sent shock waves through the beleaguered
party."
Naturally the tory rabble blame everyone but themselves.
If that desperate liar had any EVIDENCE of his slanders we
would have heard of it by now. B^)
But of course there are many Liberal voters who have given
up on them and gone across to the ALP, it is hardly any
surprise if those at the very heart of the organisation,
frustrated with incompetence and inaction, follow the rest
of the country and abandon the tory rabble completely.
The simple fact is this: The criticism is coming RIGHT OUT
OF LIBERAL PARTY HQ! B^D If that's Ted's definition of the
ALP then he best lie down in a warm bath and open his wrists! B^p
"Two staff members sacked for posting damaging comments on a website
blog were not acting alone and more heads would roll, he said.
Campaign officers Simon Morgan and John Osborn were fired following a
secret investigation that found they contributed to the invitation-only
blog hewhostandsfornothing.blogspot.com"
Sounds like their criticism was directed at Nelson or Costello,
as much as Ted.. face it, Losers, you have a long tradition
of standing for nothing! B^D
"The website lampooned Mr Baillieu, dismissing him as lazy and
incompetent."
In today's Liberal party, telling the truth is TREASON! B^D
"Their activities are a disgrace," Mr Baillieu said.
For your clear lack of leader****p and influence, yes Ted!
"They're at odds with everything that the Liberal Party stands for,"
Actually Ted, they are against YOU, and it is a bit much for
you to claim to be EVERYTHING the party stands for!
What about the other factions, Costello and Kroeger, Kennett,
you can't purge all the disunited, fractious rabble!
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAA
"but I don't believe they acted alone."
Neither do we Ted, we are all sure that there are many in your
party who share their views about how you stand for nothing.
"(They are) a narrow, but deep-seated cell of people who are
destroying this party," Mr Baillieu said."
It is a dangerous thing for any leader to equate himself with
the party, just look at Mugabe, and Howard! B^D
"It is time to clean house."
That could almost have been the voters slogan for the past
few elections when they tossed you out and kept you out.
"We have some cancerous elements . . . and they are destroying
the Liberal Party."
Voters have taken care of the main ones, Howard, Costello,
Downer, Abbott, Andrews.. plenty of time to deal with the
worthless remnant!
"The Herald Sun believes several other Liberal workers are
now under investigation after the website was traced back
to party headquarters."
Who can they trust, they are all suspect.. the Kommisars
will have to purge deep and long to ensure all the cancer
is removed!
Et tu Brutus? B^D
"It is believed Mr Morgan and Mr Osborn were exposed when
a photograph was published on the site that could have
been obtained only by a Liberal Party staffer."
Exposed doing what? Up each other? Chair sniffing?
Nah, that would be ok in today's tory party!
"Mr Osborn yesterday refused to back away from his criticism
of Mr Baillieu."
Apparently he believes he's in a democratic party where
people can have their own opinions about leaders and
discuss them in private forums, not a Stalinist cult
of Personality.
"Senior party figures told the Herald Sun the Liberal Party
was in bad shape."
Liberals, and the electorate, have been saying that for
decades:
"Menzies always emphasised that the Liberal
Party was a liberal party.
He specifically rejected conservatism as a force
within the Liberal Party.
Now, reading those particular Menzies speeches
today, conservatism seems to be -- well, the whole
political spectrum has moved to the right."
Ex-Liberal PM, Malcolm Fraser
And of course his experienced judgement is endorsed by the
Doyen of the Liberal party, Dame Rachel Cleland:
"The only thing which counts is money
Menzies founded a small-l liberal party.
All of that has gone.
They are no longer small-l liberals.
They are now the right-wing side of politics".
- Dame Rachel Cleland Australian Story ABC 3/5/99
"It's the worst I have ever seen it for decades," one insider said.
Another said: "It's a complete disaster. Nothing good can come from it."
People have been saying that about the Liberals for decades as well!
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAA
"Outgoing Liberal Party state director Julian Sheezel said he sacked the
pair last month when he first became aware of the website.
"It does appear that other Liberal Party members may be involved in
making contributions to this site," he said.
Mr Sheezel said he was not aware of the blog until April 14, an
assurance that Mr Baillieu accepted.
Mr Sheezel said other party contributors to the blog would be identified
and named.
The blog, operational from late last year, made stinging criticism of Mr
Baillieu and some other Liberal MPs.
Of a shadow cabinet reshuffle, one contributor wrote: "It is about Ted
Baillieu protecting his mates in what will prove an ultimately fruitless
attempt to cling on to his job."
Tha's good for the electorate to know.
"Writing about a poll that found Labor sup****t had slipped slightly, but
was still easily in front, a contributor said: "My God, if Ted Baillieu
is really running around telling people that this week's Newspoll is
good news for him, he is even dumber than we'd previously feared."
That would be no surprise, tories are much slower than the general
public to work out what's going on.
Another entry read: "Ted has had more than a fair go. He is a nice
enough guy, but it hasn't worked out. Too bad, so sad . . . in the name
of God, go."
Premier John Brumby yesterday seized on the turmoil.
"You're talking about gross disloyalty, you're talking about a party
that's completely lacking in policy direction, you're talking about a
leader that doesn't enjoy the confidence of his party," he said.
Former Liberal premier Jeff Kennett said he did not think the public
would be interested in the blog.
Fine, then make it public and watch us all 'ignore it' B^D
Jeff is the biggest dill of them all!
"It won't affect their perceptions of the Liberal Party in any way and I
don't think it will affect the Liberal Party," Mr Kennett said.
Jeff would bet his government on his 'insight' He He He!
