More than a decade ago Iain Sinclair famously noted the grafitti:
"Corpse and two veg".
This as on what will now be the site for the Ian Thorpe Pool. THAT
grafitti only went when the whole building was demolished!
Recently I spied some new grafitti not 100 metres from where those
inspired lines had been seen:
"Sift Information
Gain Knowledge
Find Wisdom
Read"
It was on an RTA control box, and whoever removes graffiti around
Central Sydney seems quite happy to leave this one where it is.
