[ I have been struggling with this post for two days. I kept going back and
forth, rewrite after rewrite. I could not decide on even if, let along
how,
to say what was in my heart. Finally, during a long walk on the beach just
before nightfall, I stopped to rest a few feet from the Atlantic Ocean,
closed my eyes, hearing only the wind and the waves, and received the
answer. Choose the path that leads to Peace On Earth. ]
Peace on Earth, is simple enough to obtain. All it requires is a personal
commitment to avoid, at all cost, lusting after someone else's property.
Such lust is the work of the spirit of darkness in the world.
Instead of lusting after what is not yours, seek to understand the other
person's, the other country's, perspective. It is not necessary to agree
with their point of view. Just the act of seeking to _Know_ their point of
view opens your being up to the spirit of light in the universe. That
spirit
then joins your being in a quest to bring Peace on Earth.
Struggles between countries, we call them wars, are not physical realm
conflicts as much as they are spiritual warfare in high places. The Iraq
war
is not a physical struggle between good people and the evil ones. It is a
spiritual struggle between the force of dark and the force of light within
the people of both countries. Spiritual warfare cannot be won, or lost,
with
physical weapons.
All I have said so far is a 21st century transphysics rendering of what
appears in the 4th chapter of James and in Ephesians 6:12.
Have you ever noticed the symptoms of spiritual conflict, spiritual
warfare,
that occur when two men get into a bar fight? They do two spiritually
opposing things. They curse, but then they also call out God's name. The
real conflict is not in the physical realm, or even between the spirits of
the two men, but rather between spirits _within_ both men.
You have seen similar signs of spiritual conflict when someone is
hammering
a nail, misses the nail, hits their thumb, and then calls out both curses
and the name of God.
And, then, there is the odd behavior of some during ***ual climax. They
shout out curses at the moment of climax. Between curses, they also call
out
God's name. Furthermore, they shout conflicting commands to their mate
[stop, don't stop ... slower, no faster]. These are all signs of spiritual
conflict, a struggle between opposing spirits.
When the souls of a man and a woman co-mingle, creating the possibility of
a
physical body to be formed from the egg of the woman and the sperm of the
man, a body into which God breathes the breath of life, that act should be
miraculous, so beautiful.
And, yet, to even mention the name of our ***ual organs in public is
considered bad taste in America. We have been culturally programmed, since
birth, to believe there is something taboo, something bad, about our
genitals. We must not mention the name of them except in private
conversation and then only amongst our closest of friends of the same
gender.
In these days of out of control STDs, American parents still have such
difficulty discussing the so-called "birds and bees" with our kids. First,
we have to come up with such a dumb juvenile phrase as "birds and bees" to
avoid saying the forbidden word ... ***. And, even then, even in the face
of
a deadly disease outbreak such as AIDS, we still have such difficulty
discussing the taboo subject with our kids. Something is terribly wrong
with
America's approach to ***.
And, yet, despite such prudish cultural taboos, America remains the
leading
purveyor of ****ography in the world. Clearly, there is spiritual conflict
at work, conflict between the force of light and the force of darkness.
The
force of darkness seeks to change the beautiful *** act, which was created
by God, into something dirty, wicked, and tawdry ... as far removed from
what the bible calls _Know_ing your mate, as possible.
To consider ***, or the name of our ***ual organs, as dirty is a sign of
disrespect for the creator of both.
The ***ual act is not a physical act. It is a spiritual co-mingling of
souls. To have *** with your mate is to _Know_ your mate. It is not
coincidence that two people, two people in love with each other, seeking
to
_Know_ each other, shout out God's name at the moment of ***ual climax.
This
is confirmation of something within us, some spirit which is tem****arily
released in the few seconds when our physical body looses most of its
control of our being. This spirit, released during that brief span of
time,
sings praise to the One that created All ... God ... oh, Lord ... Sweet
Jesus ... Lord have mercy .... It is soooo GOOD!
That spirit, in our act of procreation, utters the same message the
biblical
account of creation provides after each creative act by our Creator ....
It
Was Good (Genesis chapter 1).
Seek to Know your mate. Seek to Know your enemy. End the spiritual
conflict
that seeks to destroy us all.
Observe how it thinks. Even it knows the One is All. And, since even it
knows it cannot destroy the One, it seeks to destroy the All instead.
Seek Peace On Earth.
