That's because mankind is divided up into good guys and bad guys... unless
you
think Nathan Bedford Forrest, Adolf Hitler and Jeffrey Dahmer were all
"good
guys".
>This has been going on for 10,000s of years. You would think we would

because

And if we're ALL evil, Anne Frank and Hans Frank, Nathan Bedford Forrest
and
Forrest Whitaker, then there's no reason to DO anything. It's the perfect
excuse to just kick back and enjoy the suffering and exploitation of
others...
as long as you're not immediately one OF them...
>Once we choose to fight a war, a physical war, it does not matter which
side

Yes, clearly the men of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry, the Jews in the
Warsaw
Ghetto and the African National Congress were "evil" because they didn't
just
lie down and passively accept victimization. Of course people with that
opinion
usually either hope to be oppressors or to get something from them.
>We are willing to accept such horrendous acts of terror as "necessary
evils"
>once our holy men assure us it is God's Will. The other guys, the
I don't believe in "god". I have no "holy men". I believe that I have no
duty
to be a slave. I would cheerfully kill anyone who tried to make me slave.
I
would organize other people to that end.
>This is the argument. It is an ancient one.
It is certainly an ancient argument. It it certainly also an empty one,
usually
promoted by the tyrants, slave masters, and even garden variety robbers
and
rapists who demand safe "working conditions" for themselves. It's an OSHA
regulation for Byron De La Beckwith and Alton Coleman.
Isn't this the ultimate evil of religion? SOMEBODY is always using it to
explain why you shouldn't resist being a slave... or a bar of soap,
because to
do so would make you "as bad as" the guy trying to enslave or murder you.
