I posted the same advice , in a more politically correct manner, a while
back.
It has not escaped my attention that my friends who are gun-lovers, as
opposed to gun-owners, somehow seem to have more stories of assaults, and
near assaults, than my other friends. I think it has something to do with
the adage which says that as a man thinketh, so is he. If you are
constantly
thinkiing about being assaulted, to the point of continuously focusing on
acquiring guns, knives, bombs, whatever to protect yourself, you will draw
onto yourself exactly what you fear.
Another case in point. George W. Bush and his obsession with killing the
"evil ones". No president in our lifetime has obsessed more over killing
other human beings. It is no coincidence that 911 occurred on his watch.
The
man is like a raised golf club in a lightning storm.
