...this isn't exactly what I meant, but it is a good example of going
off half-cocked. Instead of shooting out all those emails and creating a
situation that almost had to blow up in your face, not to mention
burning the guy who gave you the heads up and may have been able to help
if approached differently. I would have quietly talked to some of the
others, got them to document any irregularities and then taken the proof
to whoever was over the people that were cooking the books. If that
didn't work, leak it to the press. There are very few guarantees in
business, and given what you found out...I would have bailed in short
order. But to each his own...
