The "silent blue wall" is the RULE, not the "exception".
Exactly WHERE is the situation getting "better"? Certainly not in New
Orleans.
Some would say not in Cleveland, although I'd say the jury is out. Most
of the
recent police shootings seem to have arisen from the stupidity of those
who were
shot. Of course the guys who knew about officer "Adolf" are probably
still on
the force, not seeing things they don't want to see.
Seeing cops commit crimes "abrades MY sensibilities" too. Until you can
cite me
engaging in racially motivated violence... or worse, I CAN'T be as
"ignorant" as
those Cleveland cops... or Justin Volpe for that matter.
If cops want to be respected, they should try NOT acting like criminals.
I'm
not seeing it so far.
