Police now say one man orchestrated the burglary of a downtown candy store
early yesterday morning.
In court today, police said Terrance Ware came up with the plan to take
more than $500 worth of candy from Minges Candy Shop on Court
Street. Christine Ruther, Rebecca Gamble, Dwight Reed and Ware are charged
with the burglary. Ruther is also charged with child endangering because
officers say she had her 7-week old baby with her.
A trail of candy wrappers led police to the suspects. Court do***ents say
Ware used a rock to break out the window.
