Adrian Mitchell A Cincinnati police officer has been hit with a 12 count
indictment. Adrian Mitchell, 35, is accused of wire fraud, mail fraud and
bank fraud.
He surrended just before noon to federal authorities.
The indictment accuses Mitchell of operating a real estate business,
R.I.C.H. Properties and/or R.I.C.H. Investments. Mitchel allegedly
offered to help people in financial distress. He is accused of using a
scheme to defraud the widow of a client out of $188,327.38 in benefits of
a life insurance policy. Mitchell allegedly used fraudulent do***ents to
try and secure loans on other properties.
A detention hearing is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 am.
Mitchell became a Cincinnati Police Officer in 2004.
