LEXINGTON COUNTY (WLTX) – A Gilbert man has been arrested for a third time
on charges for operating a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory in his
home.
Deputies say 38-year-old Donald Jerry Crossley was arrested on Friday
after
authorities received a search warrant to search Crossley’s Jeter Road
home.
Authorities received information that Crossley was operating a meth lab
inside his home. Deputies found a hole in the yard outside of the house
that
contained a meth lab, which was not being actively used.
Authorities also found equipment inside and outside of Crossley’s home
that
is used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Sheriff James Metts says this is the third time since September 2007 that
deputies have arrested Crossley on criminal charges concerning
methamphetamine.
Crossley is being held in the Lexington County Jail, awaiting a bond
hearing.
