Director General of the Food Industries Department at the
Agricultural Jihad Ministry Ali Ahmadi said here that at
present 80 percent of the country's foodstuff requirements
are produced in the country.
Ahmadi said that annually 62 million tons of agricultural
products are produced domestically. He said the figure will
amount to 120 million tons in the next two decades.
The official added that the country has the capability of
producing 300 million tons of agricultural products..
