Tehran Azadi S****t Complex is being prepared to host
the second round of Islamic Countries Solidarity Games.

Announcing this on Sunday, the managing director of
Azadi S****t Complex noted that the cities of Tehran,
Mashhad and Isfahan will host the second round of
solidarity games on October 13.

Zia Azari said that so far some 60 billion rials has been
spent on renovation and maintenance of the complex.

He referred to hosting of the Islamic Countries Solidarity
Games as one of the events to take place in the complex
in 2009, adding the complex is not facing much problems
due to allocation of enough budget to the complex.

Saudi Arabia on February 10, 2005 hosted the fist round
of Islamic Countries Solidarity Games.

"Some 3,000 people took part in the games,"Azari said,
predicting that over 7,000 may participate in the 2008 event.

The Azadi Stadium is Iran's largest national stadium which
has the capacity of 90,000 people. The stadium is part of
the much larger s****t complex, and is surrounded by a
rowing lake, football training pitches, weightlifting hall,
swimming facilities and indoor volleyball and futsal courts,
among many other facilities.
