President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that police
should be most powerful, reliable, popular and pious force in
the country.
Addressing police commanders in Tehran, the president said
police forces are among rare organizations with prime importance
in the society.The prominent task of police is to restore security
in the society, he said.
He said that all successes and scientific, political, industrial and
agricultural developments have roots in nationwide security.
He praised the invaluable services of police for the public.
Police also play vital role in dealing with enemy's cultural
inroads, said the president.
He said that the globe is on the threshold of U-turn and
capitalism and colonialism are at the end of their ropes.
Referring to Iran's success and developments in various
fields mainly in nuclear sector, he said the Iranian nation
are determined to make headway to progress, irrespective
of obstacles, threats and pressures on them.
