Thousands of Fars Province Alims, elites, clergymen and
seminary scholars here Wednesday met with visiting
Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei during the meeting considered
piety, acquiring mental strength, acquiring divine knowledge
efficiently, and becoming familiar with the internal and
international political developments as "The most important
responsibilities of the clerics today."
Ayatollah Khamenei added, "The clerics shoulder a very
heavy responsibility in materializing the spiritual objectives
of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Elaborating on toughness of the clerics' responsibilities and
mankind's dire need to security, the leader reiterated, "The
real security of world nations can be achieved under the
umbrella of two factors, namely might and religious spirituality."
He added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, as the manifestation
of political power of the believers, is a model that should benefit
form those two factors, and that is what makes the historic
responsibility of the clerics very heavy today."
Elsewhere in his address, the leader said it is necessary to be
familiar with the language and logic of force, adding, "In our
propagation and elaboration, we need to take advantage of
the most advanced means of the day, but the language and
logic of force means understanding the mental atmosphere
of the audiences, and scientific problem solving in order to
solve the problems of the day."
Ayatollah Khamenei considered the policies pursued by
world's remaining superpower as ground pavers for the
spread of corruption, oppression, war and bloodshed
in the world.
He added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has hoisted the
banner of confrontation against those policies in the world,
which is why it is under constant vast attacks of the
oppressors front."
