Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei paid a visit
to an exhibition of innovations and inventions in Fars province
on Tuesday. The visit took about three hours.
The exhibition showcases the latest scientific achievements,
innovations and inventions of experts and scientists of Shiraz
University, Medical Sciences University in Shiraz, main city
of the province as well as pavilions of industries and mines,
agriculture, electricity, roads and transportation, defense
industries, and park for science, technology, inventors and
the elite.
One section of the exhibition was pertaining nano-technology
of Shiraz university, which displays scientific researches and
achievements in the fields of nano-electric, nano-bio,
nano-chemistry, nano-physics, nano-materials and nano-assessments.
The Tabesh Research Center of Shiraz University with the
cooperation of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization has
showcased its research achievements.
The Supreme Leader also inspected innovations and inventions
of engineers from Fars province in the fields of petrochemical
industry, telecommunications and water pipes.
Ayatollah Khamenei paid a visit to the special pavilion of the
latest achievements in defense industries of the Ministry of
Defense and Logistics of Armed Forces too.
Representative of the Supreme Leader in Fars province and
Friday Prayers' Imam in Shiraz Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi,
Governor General Rezazadeh as well as Minister of Defense
and Logistics Mostafa Mohammad Najjar were accompanying
Ayatollah Khamenei during the visit.
