Sailors aboard the Mexican Navy's tall ****p Cuauhtemoc set sail this
morning for Baltimore's Inner Harbor, where the ****p will stay for
five days.
The 270-foot long, three-mast ****p with 23 sails is expected to arrive
about 10 a.m., its riggings lined with sailors set for a grand
entrance to the west wall of the harbor. A welcome ceremony is set for
noon, and the public can begin visiting the ****p tomorrow from 10 a.m.
to 8 p.m. The ****p also will be open for free tours Saturday from noon
to 5 p.m. and Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The ****p is arriving from a two-day stay in Cuba and is scheduled to
sail to Halifax next week.
