As was prophet mohamud(pbuh) and and khaleefahs after, but hings change,
look at the muslim leaders now, non of them can be discribed as being even
remotly close behaviour-wise to any of the khaleefahs, Ali peace be upon
him, was once asked, why arent you in a high rank like Abu-bakr and Omar,
his reply was, in the days of the prophet, i was a child, i was a
considered
a normal muslim, like the rest of the population, when the prophet died,
and
the sahaba(companions of the prophet) followed. i was seen as the best and
you are viewed as normal! eventually there'll come a race that will drink
and listen to music like its halal!
Look around now! Every arab country broadcasts music, and shows like
star-acadimy and arab idol! a name in my openion that is very suitable,
for
they are just like idols, blind and not willing to do anything about it!

rather preferre watch a video of americans excuting americans, usinf the
electric chair, gas, or lethal injection, or may be you would rather see
an
iraqi prisoner being forced to give his long time friend and fellow

a blow-job! cutting someone's hand for repeated stealing i think is very
mercifull, considering some systems may jail ppl like that for life,
imagin
being looked in a cage for life! wouldn't rather have your hand cut! and
be
an example for those who think about stealing REPEATIDLY again.
Also about stoning, whats so bad, if a person comes into your house and
rapes your wife and is proud enough to do it infront of 4 ppl(witnesses),
what would you want happen to them? jail them for 2 years! i dont think
so!
