The treasury is NOT leaving it alone, and this is the main problem. You
want
to punish the banks? Then, do not borrow, cut your credit card or pay in
full. Look at what you can afford and reduce the purchases to a minimum.
Because unless you are expecting an inheritance, those are the money you
will have to pay anyway, so might as well save the interest. Of course,
banks will take advantage of your vulnerabilities, but those are mostly
your
own fault. You sacrificed your dignity and independence for instant
pleasures, so do not blame someone else. (and by "you" I do not mean you,
