Once again heavy paper phone directories have been just distributed.
They cost very much
- in diesel oil to carry both raw paper & finished product.
- in power for many megawatts are needed for printing & assembly.
It is im****tant to act now: all these phone directories should be replaced
by diskettes, or CD or DVD.
The finished product much lighter at 20 grammes instead of 3 kg will have
even the advantage of being much easier to use than the bulky heavy paper
stuff.
Midnight Oiler must decree:
-- send CD/DVD with the paper phone directory for a year,
- make the paper an option for 2 years
- send only CD/DVD by 2011 users having a paper copy only by request.
