Mike the whole deal with Cuba was screwed up. First by the CIA and
State
Department refusing to deal with Batista for so long. Secondly by the
IDIOTS
at the CIA sup****ting Castro instead of the university students. If anyone
can get it exactly WRONG in Latin America trust the CIA to screw up a free
lunch EVERY time. And State is worse. They have the unique ability to
piss
off even the Pope.
Alan Bonehead Dulles screwed up with Cuba massively, the PLAN for
invasion (Bay of Pigs) was an INSANE plan on a good day. Dumping it on a
completely unprepared Kennedy was a recipe for the disaster it was. THAT
and
the complete FEAR of following through with Marines and air power to kick
Castro out, and the really INSANE **** since would make a great Max
Sennett
film (Keystone Kops). The IDIOTS in Wa****ngton couldn't have helped Castro
more if they had been on his personal pad.
