In India Vasectomy started in late fifties. And till I left India 7
years back I have not heard any protest from any of Hindu groups
against any kind of birth control, Tubectomy, Condoms, or even
abortion (mostly of girl child).
Yes Hindu parents do hope that some good may chose to come to this
world through them, which explains much too high expectations of Hindu
parents from their children, which renders most Hindus impotent in
every way.
