I agree they are almost inconsequential to the amount of pollution we
cause and probably embarrassing if they turn out to be the only or
biggest "achievement" by Garrett, but there is no real necessity for
them and dumping them is one (very) small move in the right direction.
The fuss over them is only matched in pettiness, by the fuss against them.
