If you want to complain about the Tarago, look at all the
failing-to-comply-in-Japan Mitsubi**** Delica's that are now clogging the
roads in Sydney, etc.. They're basically a Mitsubi**** L300 on
ultra-steriods, diesel (which is not bad in itself), and are rejected, not
brand-new, vehicles, dumped on the Australian market because the
government
allows Japanese car companies to offload their non-complying vehicles here
because they still meet Australian emission standards.
THAT is the sort of thing that should be taxed. 4wd's that are not suited
for Australia and are selling like hot-cakes in the large urban areas
because soccer-mum's still are under the mistaken impression that they're
safer vehicles to drive.
