I have no idea. And I don't know who made the "bad guys" torturing
children speak Russian - the book author or the movie producer. Either
way, it's totally unwarranted by the plot and hits you really
unexpectedy (if you understand the language).

I am used to think for myself, not rely on others' opinions. Here's
the fact: in a fairy tale, the baddest guys, torturing children, speak
Russian, even though the whole plot supposedly takes place in some
parallel world. Then the good guys wipe out the baddest Russian-
speaking guys.
How would you qualify such a movie: a pro-Russian, an anti-Russian, or
neutral?
