our local s****ts channel is rebroadcasting the game at this moment. it's
a
drubbing. the backup goalie was scored on from the first shot after being
called in to replace the first guy who let in four goals during the first
half of the first period. the game is between the first and second period
as
i type this and the score is 5-0.
it's interesting to me that the game is being played in kazan. it is one
of
the cities that i have read of in russian life magazine. it's an old city
with an engaging history. i wish the game would show more people in the
crowd so that i can observe the people of kazan.
russia can still be proud to have alexander ovechkin, in my opinion the
most
exciting russian NHL player since pavel bure and the best offensive player
in the NHL today. if he keeps playing like he played this season/playoffs,
that guy will fill stadiums in hockey towns. on top of that, he is a great
s****tsman and is a really positive force on his team attitude-wise. bure,
for all of his talent, was very reserved and moody.
