No single country is self sufficient to comfort level. Everyone or
countries are interrelated one way or another.

Obviously the Baltic & most other EU countries do need Russia, not
just oil or gas, but for Russia trade of other products too, such as
meat.

Despite the history (not to mention terrible times for post soviet
nations & people), times have change. Most post Soviet nations are
improving & prospering in many ways. Why not capitalise into present &
future times, stop hogging over the historic periods? Don't let the
future generations pay for the "heat" of current politicians battles.
