Europe can do a lot of damage to Russia. I hear EU wants to reduce the
consumption of Russian gas by half. What is going on with the
construction of the Russian gas pipeline to the Far East? Russia
should give in to EU, let it have its way, and sell all its gas to
Japan, South Korea and China.

When is the pipeline going to be ready?

- simply put, europe must be the most desirable customer to the russians.
if 
i am to believe what i read, russians are fascinated with europe; more so 
than they are with japan or south/east asia. so the pipeline is a
political 
tool to help keep their fingers in europe's pie. it's actually kinda funny

when you think about it but i can respect it.
